If you already have a job in Bangkok and are getting ready to relocate, you will need to sort out many things to ensure your transition is as smooth as possible. Schooling For The Kids
When it comes to choosing a school in Bangkok, there are many options that you can consider for them, with many excellent schools in the city. You may wish to select an international school close to where you work, which will make commuting much simpler for you. Whether you prefer a British, Australian, or an American international school, Bangkok has curriculums available from all over the world.
Accommodation In Bangkok
You will also need to do plenty of research when looking for a place to live in Bangkok, and it is worth trying to find somewhere close to your work and the school you select for your children. Doing so will help reduce your daily commute, and getting around Bangkok can be slow work, even when using the public transport systems such as the BTS or MRT. The good news is that there is plenty of accommodation available, so with some searching, you should be able to find the perfect place for you and your family. You may wish to look for features in a condo or housing estate, which include:

Getting Around Bangkok
You will also need to consider whether you will purchase a vehicle when you get to Bangkok and although you may live close to transport links, and you do not need it to get to work, it can be handy to have. When you have a car or truck, you can quickly drive out of the city at weekends and explore the surrounding areas, with the coast being a short drive away.
Medical Insurance
If your employer does not provide you with health insurance, then it is something that you are going to need for yourself and your family. There are plenty of options available, and the quality of health care is excellent if you can afford to go private. If your employer does provide you with health cover, you may also be able to get your family added to your policy, although there will be a charge for this.
